Individual & Group Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is a treatment approach to mental health services that involves talking to a skilled clinician about a broad range of situations.

Some of the conditions helped by psychotherapy include coping with stressful life events, divorce, medical illness, parenting-related concerns, attachment or relationship issues, loss of a loved one, or specific concerns such as depression or anxiety.

Our approach to psychotherapy is eclectic, pulling from multiple treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness and Attachment based therapies.  However, the most important variable to assess in your first few sessions is the fit between you and your clinician.

Our goal is that you should feel heard, seen and safe in your first appointment with a new clinician.  We are a practice that believes that every session should feel like you have made progress on the goals that initially brought you to therapy.  If you have not seen or experienced progress in as few as 6 sessions, there should be an evaluation to see if another therapy or therapist might be a better fit. Seeing a therapist is costly, both in time and resources.  We will work tirelessly to provide you with the most effective and responsive treatment to address your personal goals and needs.
